This program is for middle school students.
Beginning with the 2011-12 school year, as an alternative to the 4 hour Middle School program, we are offering a Teens’ Club for two hours once per week on Mondays at our Winchester site. The concept is similar to a bookclub but the themes will vary, ranging from the press, with press reviews to write, to novels, plays, autobiographical essays, etc. A blog will be created enabling students to communicate about class content between two lessons. The overall goal is to develop the students’ critical thinking while exposing them to a plurality of sources.
Note that if planning to take the AP French preparation class in the future, the 4 hour Middle Schooler program is strongly recommended.
